Born in 1978 Kandy, Srilanka.

The most wonderful friendships filled with love and laughter that I have ever shared have been with boys. These experiences came to a sudden stop when I moved into a girls hostel and was in an entirely different environment altogether. At first I felt very uneasy but I was soon drawn to their beauty, "funny" fashions and girlish nonsense. I was able to capture this fantastic experience in my art with the use of various colors and flower imagery.
